This Privacy Policy describes how CompressX ("the app", "we") handles information when you use the app. CompressX is a photo compression and image utility app for Android, developed and published by Mir Hussain ("the developer").
CompressX processes all photos entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share your photos or personal information. The app works fully offline. The only third-party service in the app is Google AdMob, which serves advertisements.
All image processing — compression, resizing, format conversion, signature cleaning, and size adjustment — happens locally on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any server, never transmitted over the internet, and never accessed by the developer. Original photos are never modified or deleted; the app saves processed copies as new files in your device gallery (Pictures/CompressX).
Photos accessed through these permissions are used exclusively for the on-device processing you request. No photo data leaves your device.
The developer does not collect any personal data. The app does not require an account, sign-up, or login. Your settings and processing history are stored only locally on your device and can be deleted at any time from within the app (History → Clear all) or by uninstalling the app.
CompressX displays advertisements served by Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. AdMob may automatically collect and process certain data to serve and measure ads, which may include:

Your choices: If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region where consent is required, you will be shown a consent form before personalized ads are served, and you can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy options. You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. The only data processing by a third party is the AdMob advertising described above, which is governed by Google's policies.
Because your photos and app data never leave your device, they remain under your control at all times. Data stored locally by the app is protected by your device's standard security. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored app data (saved photos in your gallery remain, as they belong to you).
The developer retains no user data, because none is collected. Locally stored history and settings persist on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app. To request information about data handled by Google AdMob, refer to Google's privacy resources linked above.
CompressX is a general-audience utility app and is not directed at children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at the email below and we will assist; however, note that the app itself collects no personal data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
